How to obtain Individual Membership

If you do not belong to any society stated above, you can apply to Individual membership by using online application on this website.
Your application will be proposed to the Executive Committee and then is presented to the General Assembly for confirmation.

Active Members: USD10

Physicians engaged in practice, teaching or research in Asia and with a special competence in Abdominal Radiology.

Corresponding Members: USD10

Physicians engaged in practice, teaching or research and with a special competence in
Abdominal Radiology, residing outside of Asia.

Period of Membership

One year from your due date

Note: Renewal of membership can be obtained automatically on payment of the fees due.

Cancelation of Membership

No refund is available.
The voluntary withdrawal of membership should be announced in writing to the ASAR office by e-mail, to the attention of the Chairman of the Membership Committee, at least three months prior to your due date.

Termination of membership

Ordinary and extra-Ordinary membership comes to an end through voluntary withdrawal of membership, cancellation of membership, on expulsion or on the death of the member. Cooperate membership ends at the time of loss or change of legal status.

The voluntary withdrawal of membership should be announced in writing to the ASAR office by e-mail to the attention of the Chairman of the Membership Committee, at least three months prior to your due date.

Membership shall be terminated automatically at your due date without further notice, if dues and assessments are not paid at due date. Benefits (learning from ASAR educational sources etc.) will stop after confirmation of non-payment. Renewal of membership can be obtained automatically on payment of the fees due.

The expulsion of a member from the Society can be proposed by the Executive Committee on the grounds of gross breach of the duties of a member and of dishonorable behavior. Against a decision of expulsion an appeal to the General Assembly may be launched; membership rights are suspended until a decision is taken by the General Assembly.
