Cher Heng Tan/ Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine/ Singapore

Dr Tan Cher Heng obtained his medical degree from the National University of Singapore in 2001 and completed his training in Diagnostic Radiology in 2009. He is presently a Consultant with the Department of Diagnostic Radiology at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH). His subspecialty interests are in oncologic imaging and abdominal MRI, for which he completed a clinical fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas, USA in 2009. Cher Heng is currently involved in a number of funded research projects with various Nanyang Technological University, Singapore scientists, primarily related to MRI. He was a Chair of the Diagnostic Imaging Track at the Singapore Health and Biomedical Congress in 2010 and 2012 as well as Co-chair of the Scientific Committee at Radiology Asia 2015. He currently serves as a reviewer for European Radiology, European Journal of Radiology and Abdominal Imaging. Cher Heng has published more than 40 articles in international peer reviewed journals and 3 book chapters. He has been invited to a number of international conferences to lecture, including at the 2014 Congress of IHPBA in South Korea.
