He is the expert with State Council Special Allowance, Medical Leading Talent in Guangdong Province.
His current clinical research and teaching mainly focus on abdominal radiology and molecular imaging. And recently he has shown special interest in the application of radiomics and deep learning in diagnosis and clinical prediction model construction. Within these fields, Dr. Changhong Liang has been publishing articles and scientific posters in RSNA (Radiological Society of North America) since 1998. As the first author and corresponding author, he has totally published about 260 papers in JCO, Radiology, Clinical Radiology, JCAT, Academic Radiology and Chinese Journal of Radiology, etc. He has been the PI of 9 scientific research grants, including National Key Research and Development Program of China, NSFC(Natural Science Foundation of China), The sub-project of the National Eleventh-Five Year Research Program of China, Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province, Guangdong Science and Technology Research Project, etc.
